ifilm to wave goodbye at ‘Special Guests’

ifilm has scheduled to air the final episode for the series ‘Special Guests’ on Tuesday evening.

Directed by Seyyed-Javad Razavian, the last episode of the show will hit the air at 21:00 GMT on April 07. It is also set to repeat three times the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00 all GMT times.

A brief synopsis for the series reads, “Majid is living in Tehran, working at the university and is getting married to the love of his life. Everything seems perfect, until his family comes for a visit to meet his future in-laws. The culture clash between his simple family and his sophisticated in-laws leads to some hilarious high jinks, but it also threatens to ruin Majid’s plans of getting married”.

Daryoush Asadzadeh, Faqiheh Soltani, Reza Babak, Alireza Khamseh, Pourandokht Mohaymen, Smir-Hossein Seddiq, Bita Saharkhiz, Iman Safa, Afshin Sangchap and Asha Mehrabi are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Special Guests’ will be replaced by the series ‘Lean on the Wind’ directed by Mahmoud Moazzami on Wednesday.
